Most people think Dooars means jeep safari, full stop. Really it's two trips in one -Gorumara and Jaldapara for wildlife, or Samsing and Suntalekhola if you
just want rivers and forest without the crowds. Shorter packages lean toward one; longer ones cover both.
One heads-up: the parks shut mid-June to mid-September for the monsoon breeding season. If safaris are the whole point, skip that window – we'd rather tell you now than sell you a trip that doesn't work.
