Yes - Indian citizens need an Inner Line Permit for North Sikkim (Lachen, Lachung, Gurudongmar), which we arrange as part of your booking. No permit is needed for Gangtok or Pelling.
It can be demanding due to the altitude and cold. Our Sikkim Family Tour instead covers Gangtok, Tsomgo Lake, Pelling and Namchi - easier terrain, same Sikkim experience.
March to June and October to mid-December offer the clearest views. North Sikkim routes can close briefly during heavy winter snowfall.
The Sikkim Honeymoon Package (4N/5D) covers Gangtok, Pelling and Ravangla - scenic and relaxed, without the high-altitude stretch to Gurudongmar Lake.
5 to 7 days covers both South/East Sikkim (Gangtok, Pelling) and North Sikkim (Lachen, Lachung) without rushing. Shorter 3-4 day trips work well if you're focusing on one region.
